v0.12.0major update
Fostera v0.12.0 — Smarter Auto, connected work
Let your Soul understand richer requests, choose a better-fit model, work with connected services, and carry longer tasks through to a visible result.
New Features
- Added attachment-aware Auto routing that considers workload complexity, context size, required abilities, media characteristics, and model capabilities.
- Added GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6.1 Terra, and GPT-6 Luna to the model catalog and Auto routing system.
- Added connected Calendar, Google Drive, Google Photos, Maps, and travel abilities with owner-controlled access.
- Added durable Soul jobs that carry longer work to an evidence-based done state and surface progress in the product.
- Added a unified Add Context experience for finding conversations, project knowledge, files, memories, and connected sources.
- Added automatic and on-demand reply suggestions with account controls, clear actions, and bounded Resonance usage.
- Added one voice-mode screen for standard and live voice, including eligible Grok Voice sessions and immediate transcript updates.
- Added offline project preparation, a Quick chat companion to Send, and chat-start composers on Soul profiles.
- Added low-balance alerts, spend-this-cycle visibility, and optional automatic Resonance top-up controls.
Improvements
- Improved document and invoice creation so requested files complete across provider fallback and remain available for download.
- Improved live browser controls, verification, viewport stability, and the Soul's ability to finish web-assisted work.
- Improved the project home experience with living brief updates, clearer sections, scoped search, and easier context management.
- Improved chat performance with earlier server data, smaller page bundles, cached assets, route warming, and quieter revalidation.
- Improved composer guidance with clearer engine, AI, context, edit, and Resonance information across chat surfaces.
- Improved billing navigation so Add Wallet Resonance opens the correct section and moves directly to Wallet and Motes purchase controls.
- Improved memory, file, creation, and background libraries with shared filters, previews, and more consistent controls.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Auto recovery across provider timeouts, unsupported inputs, incomplete responses, and diversified fallback attempts.
- Fixed native PDF handling for OpenAI Responses models and accepted successful completed responses from the provider.
- Fixed Calendar and other Auto abilities so an authorized Soul can use existing connections without asking the user to reattach exported data.
- Fixed scheduled documents, invoice drafts, and other long-running work so settlement and recovery survive retries and fallback.
- Fixed live and standard voice transcripts, microphone stops, playback recovery, and overlapping composer suggestions.
- Fixed creation saving on iPhone, chat deletion while work is busy, and useful trip plans during lookup failures.
- Fixed scoped project sources, context catalog availability, chat naming, and stale document revision handling.
Limitations
- Calendar, Drive, Photos, Maps, travel, and other connected work requires the corresponding service to be connected and authorized for the requested scope.
- Live voice requires an eligible configured provider and is billed according to the displayed usage terms.
- Auto can use fallback models when a preferred provider is unavailable, times out, or cannot handle the request safely.
- Automatic Resonance top-up requires an eligible payment setup and the account controls selected in Billing.
