Each plan includes a monthly conversation budget. If you have an unusually active month, you can buy a pack — 80 conversations for $5, 400 for $15, or 2,000 for $50. Your Soul always finishes what it started — there's no hard cutoff mid-response.

Fostera picks for you, automatically. Three things shape the choice: how mature your Soul is (newer Souls run on smaller, faster models; matured Souls earn larger ones), what plan you're on (Premium floors every turn at top-tier models), and how complex the question is (a quick 'thanks!' doesn't deserve the same model as a hard reasoning task — we route accordingly to keep your conversation budget honest). Frontier models like Claude Opus 4.7 and GPT-5.5 are Premium-only and reserved for genuinely complex turns. Premium also unlocks manual mode if you want to pin a specific provider.

Yes. Your Soul's conversations and memories are private by default. We never use your data to train AI models, and we never inject ads into your Soul's responses. If you make a Soul public on Discover, only the Soul's profile is visible — private memory is never shared.

Motes are Fostera's in-app currency for cosmetics, personality packs, and digital goods in the Soul Store. They're a one-time purchase — not a subscription, not a required feature. Customize if you want to; they don't affect how your Soul thinks or remembers.
