v0.14.0Minor release
An easier first conversation
Start now opens on one question, What can I help with?, with example requests to click: plan a week, write an email, explain something, make a decision, or just talk after a rough day. An example fills the box as an editable draft and quietly picks the right Soul. A line under the box shows who you're talking to, with Change beside it. Messages that ask for company go to a Companion, and switching the kind of help keeps what you typed.
New Features
- Added clickable example requests on the start page, grouped into Get something done and Someone to talk to.
- Added a Just talk starting point that opens a Companion Soul.
Improvements
- The start page now shows who you're talking to, with a Change option, instead of a Soul type list.
- Messages that clearly ask for company now go to a Companion.
- Every option on the full start page now shows its description, so you can compare before choosing.
- The character counter now appears only near the limit, and errors show one at a time.
- The start page for signed-in accounts now offers the same examples for an empty composer.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed typed text disappearing when you chose a different kind of help on the start page.
Limitations
- Only clear requests for company, like a rough day or feeling lonely, go to a Companion automatically. Anything else starts with the general assistant unless you pick an example or change the Soul.
