v0.8.0

Fostera v0.8.0 — Model Synthesis, drafts & project continuity

New Features

  • Added Model Synthesis, letting eligible Souls combine several independent model contributions and one final writer into a single cohesive response.
  • Added persistent communication drafts, so emails, texts, letters, and similar messages remain connected across follow-up revisions.
  • Added reviewable project continuity through Living Brief proposals and outcome history, preserving earlier decisions without silently overwriting newer work.
  • Enabled Model Synthesis and generated-avatar staging in Soul Edit Mode, so Souls can use broader abilities while they are being refined.

Improvements

  • Expanded synthesis across compatible Soul abilities, files, document creation, research, media, and other supported work, with the synthesis plan attached to the composer, thread, and final response.
  • Added Auto synthesis for Core and manual contributor and final-writer selection for Premium, while Free accounts can preview what the capability does and why it is valuable.
  • Expanded View details to itemize every synthesis contributor, final writer, paid ability, funding source, token count, returned amount, and exact Resonance multiplier.
  • Improved synthesis copy to explain that a Soul chooses several contributors and one final writer for each request, then reuses those choices if it retries.
  • Expanded the live voice transcription meter across the composer on mobile and desktop, with clear actions to use or discard a recording.
  • Improved Soul editing with safer save, discard, recovery, and accessibility states during long-running changes.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed cascades of model timeouts and stale fallback contracts that could leave both synthesis and regular Auto replies unfinished.
  • Fixed synthesis retries, recovery, and provider handoffs so one failed contributor does not discard work that completed successfully.
  • Fixed Resonance accounting across synthesis and paid abilities so every funded operation is attributed once, uses the configured multiplier, and records debits and returns accurately.
  • Fixed follow-up draft revisions being mistaken for repeated requests or external actions, which could make a Soul lose the message or document being revised.
  • Fixed Soul editor race conditions that could lose newer changes, leave saves unresolved, or discard staged work.
  • Fixed voice permission handling and transcription billing provenance, especially on mobile browsers.
